Bequia Plantation Hotel

Bequia

Set on spacious grounds at the end of Admiralty Bay, this hotel feels removed from the downtown hustle but is just an effortless stroll from the action. There are six comfortable rooms upstairs in the main building, the best of which are the two with sea-view balconies, and bigger, more private stand-alone cottages spread among the coconut palms.

There's a decent-size pool, but even better than that is the tiny beach with crystal-clear waters right in front of the property. There are also free kayaks for guest use that are perfect for paddling to Princess Margaret Beach just around the corner.

The large open-air bar/restaurant overlooking the water is a fabulous place for a drink and serves wood-fired pizzas (EC$27 to EC$59).
