The eponymous Dennis seems to be related to half the island’s residents, many of whom work here. Rooms are on a hill with views west to Union Island and beyond. There's also a very basic hostel-style room for those on a tight budget. The restaurant (mains EC$25 to EC$60) serves basic fare and fresh seafood – Dennis cooks a mean conch.
The bar here is a gathering point after dark and a surprising number of rum punches can disappear while hearing Dennis’ many tales of Caribbean life. It's on the main road a few hundred meters uphill from the dock.
