Les Badamiers

Réunion

This family-run eatery in a private house spins tasty carris and ace homemade desserts (Mmm, the crème brûlée and the tarte Tatin with papaya and cinnamon…). The menu is concise but everything is fresh, the atmosphere is reliably jovial and the prices incredibly good value for the area. The icing on the cake: a terrace with stupendous sea views.

It's about 100m away from the beginning of the road that descends to Grande Anse. No credit cards.
