This Basseterre institution was rejuvenated by a rigorous refurb in 2015; it's still looking very much the best address in Basseterre. The hotel's 50 units cascade down a bayfront hillside about a 15-minute walk west of central Basseterre. The staff is super friendly, rooms with private patios are classily furnished and three smallish pools compensate for the lack of beach.
