It’s a century since this property did service as the residence of the colonial governor. Today he would be doubtless be underwhelmed with the poorly maintained rooms and somewhat drab feel of his former home. Sure, the building, with its teak furniture and fireplaces, retains a certain period charm, but it could all be so much better.
