Baba Batik

The Ancient Cities

This batik factory and showroom is a great place to see the batik-making process, from the drawing of the designs and multistage dyeing of cloth to the boiling away of the wax. The tasteful and excellent quality batiks are then made into dresses, sarongs, scarves and tablecloths.

The factory and lovely century-old residence is on the main highway 1km south of Aluvihara.
