Lighthouse Beach Hut

The East

These eight rustic cabanas sit easy in their rural surrounds right by the break. Kanthan, the owner, worked in Arugam Bay for years, and is well versed in travellers' needs, preparing great local food (meals from Rs 300). It's solar powered, and there are often yoga classes during the main season. The tree-house huts are a climb, but have splendid views.
