Forn Ca'n Molinas

Valldemossa

This place along the main pedestrian drag has been baking up the local speciality of coca de patata (a bready, sugar-dusted pastry) and the island-favourite ensaïmades (light pastry spirals dusted with icing sugar) since 1920. Head for the delightful garden terrace out back.

There's a whole cornucopia of other sweet and savoury pastry delights, including crenadillo chocolate, hosaldre mermalade, piñon, almendra and butter croissants, plus crusty bread rolls with cheese or ham (handy for hikers). There is another branch in town, along Carrer de la Rosa.
