Arc de Sant Benet

Today, this elegant 18th-century arch in front of the Monestir de Sant Feliu de Guíxols stands alone, the walls connecting it to the monastery complex long demolished. If the Sant Benet statue at the top of the gate looks suspiciously polished, that's because it replaces the original, which was destroyed during the civil war.
