Venta del Celemín

Castilla-La Mancha

This delightful country house makes a memorable setting to recharge and reconnect with Mother Nature. Whitewashed walls with traditional indigo trim, juniper wood-beamed ceilings, delightfully furnished rooms and a pleasant garden (with summertime pool) are all part of the charm. The welcoming hosts have a wealth of info on the area, and also offer tours with a literary, gastronomic or nature focus.

According to legend, the Venta del Celemín is the home of the hermit caretaker who received Don Quijote and Sancho in part two (chapter 24) of Cervantes' celebrated novel.
