Reitoral de Chandrexa

Galicia

The former curate's house next to Chandrexa church, 4.5km east of Parada de Sil, has three comfy, stone-walled, wood-ceilinged rooms with good bathrooms. Downstairs is a cosy farmhouse-style dining-cum-sitting room where the owners serve up excellent organic breakfasts (€6) and dinners (€12 to €16), with many ingredients from their garden.

It's 500m off the OU0605 (signposted), and well located for the area's walking routes. It also has a two-seat kayak for rent on the Río Sil, 2.5km downhill.
