Bar Fuentefría

Galicia

The crowd regularly spills on to the street from this tiny, old-fashioned place with blue-and-white tiling, small blackboard menu and, for some reason, a bicycle hung above the bar. The speciality is afumadas (smoked fish on toast slices) but the solombo con piquillo (tenderloin with red pepper) and xamón asado (baked ham), both in bread rolls, are pretty tasty too.
