Antigua Casa Ángel Sierra

This historic old taberna (tavern) is the antithesis of modern Chueca chic – it has hardly changed since it opened in 1917. As Spaniards like to say, the beer on tap is very ‘well poured’ here and it also has vermouth on tap. It can get pretty lively on weekend evenings when it not so much spills over onto the vibrant Plaza de Chueca as takes it over.
