A Casa da Eira

Galicia

Five cosy rooms and two self-catering apartments are set in an appealingly renovated, 130-year-old granite-and-timber farmhouse in the hamlet of Alberguería, just off the OU0508 10km west of Parada de Sil. The hosts are full of helpful information on numerous walks and other things to do, and serve up big breakfasts (€5.50) with homemade jams.

A pretty little garden, long wooden verandah, comfy sitting areas, tasteful art and plenty of books add to the appeal.
