Another slice of Albayzín magic in a 1503 Renaissance palace that’s as much architectural history lesson as three-star hotel. The sound of trickling water follows you through columned courtyards to 18 traditional, low-ceilinged rooms clad in tiles, bricks, beams, murals and artesonado, and there's free tea, coffee and cakes mid-afternoon. Just off Plaza Nueva at the foot of the Albayzín.
