One of Mérida's most popular chefs, Emilio Muñoz, has taken up residence next to the entrance to the Teatro Romano. There's a cafeteria-feel but also some extremeño and wider specialities (grilled meats, creative salads, rice and pasta dishes) and a decent lunchtime buffet.
