La Casona de los Güelitos

This welcoming, family-run hotel occupies a gorgeously restored 17th-century house adorned with tangles of bougainvillea, 2.5km south of Santillana. Each of the 11 homey, delicately styled rooms bursts with a statement colour, incorporating original wood and stone features and pretty countryside views.
