A tranquil haven in little Fontibre village, this old stone posada offers six very well-kept rooms just steps from the source of the Río Ebro. Decor is comfortably rustic, with beamed ceilings, stone walls, colourful rugs, and interesting historical curios and photos dotted around. Breakfast is €5.50 and there are a couple of good dinner options in the village, including the enticing Restaurante Fuentebro overlooking the Nacimiento.
