A Taberna do Bispo

Santiago de Compostela

Tempting tapas are arrayed along the bar's length, Basque-style, and you can order all sorts of other goodies, like hotplate (plancha)-grilled scallops/squid/cockles/mussels, or montaditos (small open sandwiches) of beef tenderloin (solomillo de ternera) in moscatel sauce. Staff seem to speak more English than Spanish!
