Eurostars Hotel Real

Top choice in Santander

The Real was built, on a panoramic hilltop, in 1917 to house the royal family's guests. Following a full makeover it again offers a regal-style experience from the brilliantly white lounge, opening to a columned bay-view terrace, to the 123 updated classical-style rooms with rich chestnut-wood furnishings and blue-and-gold trim. An additional draw is the thalassotherapy spa with its ample sea-water pool.

Rates tend towards the lower end of the scale from October to Easter and peak from late June to early September.
