Occupying a beautifully renovated 1870 casa d'indians, the Hanoi feels more relaxed upmarket B&B than hotel. A grand staircase (no lift) twists up to nine spacious, historical rooms with tall wooden doors, balconies and original floor tiles, turned fashionably contemporary thanks to their pared-back design of pale woods and dashes of turquoise. Breakfast happens in the pretty patio.
Reception is inconveniently located in a neighbouring property (this small chain operates two other hotels in Begur).
