La Caseta del Migdia

Top choice in Barcelona

The effort of getting to what is, for all intents and purposes, a simple xiringuito (summer snack bar) perched atop Montjuïc's seaward slopes, is worth it. Gaze out on the Mediterranean over a beer or soft drink by day. As sunset approaches the atmosphere changes, as reggae, samba and funk waft out over the hillside. Food is fired on outdoor grills.

Walk west along the dirt track below the walls of the Castell de Montjuïc or follow Passeig del Migdia – look for signs to the Mirador del Migdia.
