At this stylish, ultracontemporary hotel, the 60 uniquely designed white-on-white rooms revolve around Barcelona themes (Gaudí, the Museu del Disseny, Catalan festivals and gastronomy) and are gradually being jazzed up with original artwork. All are decently sized and have ecofriendly toiletries; singles have small double beds. Neon-painted pillars, sunbeds, a shower and an organic garden dot the view-laden roof terrace.

Welcoming staff are full of tips and can arrange locally oriented experiences such as sailing trips on the Med.
