El Rabipelao

Barcelona

With DJs spinning salsa beats, occasional live music and a covered back patio, El Rabi is a celebratory space. Silent films play, red-washed walls are decorated with vintage photos, and there's a colourful mural above the bar. Gins and Caribbean rums and tropical cocktails (€6 to €10) like mojitos and caipirinhas pair with Venezuelan snacks such as arepas (filled cornbread patties).

There are several branches around town, including in the Barri Gòtic.
