Hotel Central

Gijón

It's quite a surprise to find this welcoming, family-run, little hotel tucked inside an unlikely looking apartment block near the bus station, 900m south of Cimavilla. The Central is a fluffy-cushioned, parquet-floored world of its own with nine homey, soft-furnished rooms in a white-and-cream boutique style. Breakfast (€6) is served in the snug lounge.
