A good El Tubo spot to duck into for solidly satisfying, not-too-fancy tapas – the likes of smoked-salmon-and-prawn montaditos (small, warm bread rolls), or ham-and-cheese-stuffed potatoes – or plates of huevos rotos (fried eggs and potatoes) with ham or sausage. As you'd guess from the name, there are plenty of wines to go with the food.
