Méli Melo

Zaragoza

The creative tapas at this tightly packed spot are arrayed very temptingly along the bar: you can just select those that appeal most; maybe prawn-stuffed squid, or artichoke with ham, or a mini fish-and-shrimp burger. Or choose more substantial raciones from the board, such as patatas a la gresca (fried potato cubes) or escalibada con bacalao (baked veggies with cod).

There’s a popular little restaurant in the back, too, serving full plates of the same creative fare (raciones and mains €10 to €23).
