With a lovely shaded terrace and cosy thatched interior, family-owned, 1945-founded Venta El Toro is loved for its fried farm-fresh eggs with hand-cut chips and other typically vejeriego goodies, including delicious breakfasts with bread from Conil, salad made with home-grown produce, and tapas of local payoyo cheese. It's a 5km drive north of Vejer.
