Tumbao

Tarifa

The ultimate Tarifa-cool beach hang-out, Tumbao serves up cocktails, tinto de verano, and loungey sunset beats on a grassy, beanbag-strewn patch overlooking the kitesurfing action on Playa de Valdevaqueros, 10km northwest of town. The kitchen delivers burgers, salads, nachos and other tasty bites.

The attached ivy-wrapped restaurant does excellent Spanish-international buffet lunches (€11) from 1pm to 5pm. Also here is the respected ION Club kitesurfing/windsurfing school.
