Tablao El Arenal flamenco stage

©Fiona Flores Watson/Lonely Planet

Of all the venues offering flamenco 'dinner shows', this is one of the best. With a seating capacity of 100 in an old-school tavern, it lacks the grit and – invariably – duende (flamenco spirit) of the peñas (small flamenco clubs), although you can't fault the skill of the performers. Skip the food, though.
