El Faro de Cádiz

Ask any gaditano for their favourite Cádiz tapas bar and there’s a strong chance they’ll choose El Faro. Seafood, particularly the tortillitas de camarones (shrimp fritters) and superb boquerones, is why people come here, though the rabo de toro (oxtail) and vegetarian-friendly patatas aliñadas have their devotees. El Faro's upmarket restaurant (mains €17 to €24) gets mixed reviews.
