Casa de San Martín

Aínsa

A stunning rural retreat standing in splendid isolation overlooking a deserted valley, this tall, stone house has a history going back over 1000 years. It has been beautifully renovated with intriguing art and crafts, plenty of sitting areas, and spacious rooms featuring exposed stone and rustic wooden furnishings. Meals (dinner €25) are exceptional.

Head 16km west from Aínsa on the N260, then 5km up an unpaved road from the 'San Martín de la Solana' sign.
