This idyllic traditional hanok inn, built around a courtyard, is inside Duryunsan Provincial Park, about two-thirds of the way between the car park and Daeheung-sa. Rooms are small but cosy, decorated with ink-brush paintings; note that bathrooms are shared – and in a separate building. Don't miss the traditional breakfast (₩8000), brought to your room on a low table.
Next door is a rest stop with floor seating above the gurgling stream – it’s a perfect place to stop for an ice cream or makgeolli (milky rice wine).
