Going since 1977, this hostel is all about its friendly English-speaking and easy-going owner Clint Kwon, a mine of local info who shares excellent local advice and history (his father accommodated probably the first Lonely Planet writer in Korea). Rooms are simple and dated, but prices are low and pervasive sensations of dependable, old-school travelling culture permeate the place.
The courtyard and roof deck are gathering spots for travellers. Laundry is ₩6000 per load. It's on the road with McDonalds at its southern end.
