Savoy Hotel

Daegu

This love motel enjoys a fantastic location in central Daegu, alongside a church a stone's throw north of the Daegu Modern History Museum. Rooms are divided into two blocks, one newer than the other, and are comfortable, with PCs, bathrooms, kettles and regularly restocked mini-fridges (for water and coffee). Breakfast (toast and cornflakes) is simple but sufficient, with a free coffee machine in the lobby.

It's over five floors and there's a lift and staff who speak very good English. Ask for a room with a window that will open. Prices go up by ₩20,000 at weekends.
