Named after William Cock, an enterprising 1820 Settler, and once home to author André Brink, this historic residence with bags of character has nine cosy double rooms in the main house and converted stables. There are also two-bedroom self-catering apartments. Norden's Restaurant, on site, is a great place for a fine meal overlooked by paintings of 19th-century South Africa.
