It's a sign of the improving security of downtown Jo'burg that a fairly cool backpackers has opened here. Basic rooms have some nice decorative touches, such as old movie cameras or LPs. The bathrooms have seen better days, but the rooftop kitchen and the chill-out area are pluses, as is the ground-floor Kafe Noir where you can grab breakfast.
