Silo Hotel

Green Point & Waterfront

In counterpoint to its former industrial surroundings, and the clean lines of Thomas Heatherwick's redesign of the grain silo, Silo Hotel opts for eye-popping maximalism in its interior decor. Be prepared for lush fabrics, floral prints, glitzy chandeliers and plenty of zingy colours everywhere.

Proving so popular you'll need to make a booking is the hotel's Granary Bar (afternoon tea from R160, 2pm to 5pm), but the Willaston Bar is open to all comers without reservation – both are on the 6th floor. The spectacular rooftop pool and bar area is for guests only.
