Erf 81 Market

Cape Town

This small market is one of the projects of a worthy, nonprofit urban agriculture scheme that exists without a lease on prime city land. Food security activists Tyisa Nabanye (Xhosa for 'feed the others') moved from the townships into this former military site, cleaned up a shed and planted a market garden with a spectacular view of Table Mountain. Follow the road uphill to find the market and garden.
