A small, chilled-out and eco-friendly retreat tucked into the woods outside Lucija, on the outskirts of Portorož. Tents with air mattresses can be hired – some sit snugly under thatched Istrian lean-tos, and include linen. There's a sociable communal eating area, free bike hire, and welcoming owners can arrange activities and give great local recommendations.
To reach it, head for the police station in Lucija (signposted), and look for signs from there. Free pick-up can be arranged, from Lucija or Portorož.
