A great place for a meal if you want to get out of the city but don’t feel like travelling is 'At the Three Fishponds' in City Park. Along with a handful of fish dishes, you'll find such specialties as štruklji (cheese dumplings) and stuffed pork ribs. There’s a decent wine list too.
