Na Kupčku Estate

Top choice in The Julian Alps

Now here's something really special. Saša and Jure have built the most marvellous little escape in the forested hills, 9km from Idrija. The apartment, designed with impeccable taste, has fine views and you could easily spend a week or more here. They've also built a cottage from wood found on the property. Meals can be arranged.

Saša is an accredited masseur and runs a small wellness centre, complete with sauna. The couple are wonderful hosts – wine and snacks around the fire are a wonderful way to finish the day. Ask Saša to teach you how to make žlikrofi. Terrific walks in the area as well.
