Nostalgie

Eastern Slovakia

The most upmarket offering in Spišska Nová Ves, Nostalgie marries interesting combinations – strawberries and prosciutto, pheasant and asparagus – with a pleasingly local selection of wines, served by a friendly team. Burritos, jambalaya and Italian pasta dishes form an eclectic spread but the degustation menus (from €39) are best – reserve ahead.

It's next to Spišska Nová Ves' tourist information centre.
