Wildly popular, the InnCrowd is ground zero for Singapore's backpackers. Located right in the heart of Little India, the highlight of this fairly basic hostel is the free kick-scooter city tours (6pm Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday), a social and fun way to discover Singapore. Staff are very helpful and there are board games, unlimited breakfast and a laundry. Balcony rooms get noisy – request a room without one.
