Artichoke

Colonial District, the Quays & Marina Bay

Sequestered in a cosy building behind an old church, cafe-style Artichoke is the stamping ground of street-smart chef Bjorn Shen. His schtick is Middle Eastern cuisine with radical twists, whether it's burnt miso hummus, Coca Cola pork collar with shallots, or lamb kebab with pistachio yoghurt and sumac onions. Sharing plates make it a good spot for foodie friends.

Doors open at 4pm for 'hang time' when super crispy chicken wings are served with finger-licking sauces and well-priced drinks. The dinner menu kicks off from 6pm.
