Long Bar

Colonial District, the Quays & Marina Bay

Famous the world over, the Raffles Hotel's Long Bar is the very place that bartender Ngiam Tong Boon invented the now legendary Singapore Sling in 1915. The bar underwent a spruce up in 2018, as did the Sling, with the update using Widges gin and custom-made grenadine syrup. Thankfully the beloved tradition of discarding peanut shells directly on the floor remains.
