Anse Soleil Resort

Mahé

Run by a hospitable family, this discreet number has just four self-catering apartments; the Kitouz is the best, but all are well equipped, nicely laid out and spacious, and come with a large terrace from where you can soak up the view over Anse à la Mouche (if you can ignore the power lines). Meals (€15) are available on request.

We hear you: 'Where's the nearest beach, darling?' – Anse Soleil is 1.6km down the road.
