Koko Grove Chalets

Mahé

If you're after hush and seclusion, then these three timbered chalets, outstandingly positioned in the velvety emerald hills above Anse Royale, are the answer. The three units are self-contained, with cosy living areas and private verandas overlooking the tiny swimming pool, with the ocean as a backdrop. It's 400m north of Le Jardin du Roi.

There's a store 400m down the road – useful if you're preparing your own food. If you don't fancy cooking, the owners can prepare excellent Creole meals.
