Le Repaire stands apart by serving incredibly well-executed Italian classics. The Italian chef imports some key ingredients from his homeland, so the pastas, risottos and pizzas all pop with old-world flavour. The meat and seafood dishes, such as pan-seared tuna rolled in black sesame seeds, are also succulent successes.
The sophisticated yet casual dining room spills out from the art-filled interior into a flourishing tropical garden. There's a range of exemplary desserts, including an addictive tiramisu. The only downside? It's buffet breakfast isn't worth the Rs 500.
