La Digue
An expansive, lush garden and lovely pool are the highlights of this well-run venture. The rooms in the two main houses are scrupulously clean and a healthy size. There are also two smaller, less exciting rooms in a low-rise building at the back of the garden. Several rooms can accommodate families (€50 extra per child aged two to 12).
The catch? The pool is quite close to the terrace of some superior rooms. Credit cards are accepted, but there's a 5% surcharge. And wi-fi is €7 per device.
